Our Programs

Champion Recovery Community has three distinct programs that provide services to meet the unique needs of the differing populations in the community.

Men's and Women’s Recovery Program

Population Served:
Individuals impacted by addiction, trauma, co-dependency; 1-year commitment.

Services:
Comprehensive year-long curriculum-based program, performance milestones, graduation. Strong faith-based fellowship, mentorship. Transportation provided.

Issue:
Living in instability due to addiction, co-dependency and trauma.

Indicators:
In Tennessee, more women were added to state prison than men. Women are more likely to enter prison with a history of abuse, trauma, and mental health problems.

Services:

  • Drug & Alcohol Assessments

Life Recovery Center

Population Served:
Men and women impacted by addiction, trauma and co-dependency.

Services:
Walk-in essential services, meals, showers, laundry, clothing, hygiene items, computers. Restoration and life skills education classes, bible study and faith development. Recovery meetings. Transportation provided.

Issue:
Local residents unable to obtain basic services increasing barriers to achieving/maintaining sobriety.

Indicators:
Individuals in recovery with low social support have been found to have higher severity of drug and alcohol use alongside greater physiological distress.

Jail Re-Entry Program

Population Served:
Incarcerated women and men in Sequatchie Valley.

Services:
Bible study and re-entry assistance program. Needs assessment, referrals for support resources.

Issue:
Cycles of addiction and incarceration perpetuate each other.

Indicators:
85% of the prison population has an active substance use disorder or were incarcerated for a crime involving drugs or drug use. Inmates with opioid use disorder are at a higher risk for overdose following release from incarceration.
