What We Are About
Have you ever been in a place emotionally that you had to look up to see the bottom? You find yourself to be completely overtaken by depression and circumstances that you'd do anything to make it stop? When you're looking for a moment of calm, a moment when there's no yelling, no struggle, no crying or no pain.
The women that are in the middle of these situations are the women that we minister to. Whether these women call us in desperation, or we visit them in the local jail, they are looking for someone to stretch forth a hand to help them up. Champion Recovery Community is that organization that takes her by the hand and walks with her through recovery to a place of healing knowing her worth through Jesus Christ.
Whom Do We Serve
CRC will help any woman who is willing to enroll and participate in our program. We typically serve women within one hundred miles of our area, but the majority comes from in and around the Sequatchie Valley. These women must be in recovery from crisis, and understand that we are a Christ centered recovery program.

How Are We Supported
CRC is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that is supported through donations from churches, individuals, families and local businesses. Our program is free to any woman that needs it. We could only do what we do through the providence of God through those moved to support us.
What Are Our Program Needs
Champion Recovery Community averages 30 clients a year, and we are looking to bring on more. We are currently raising money for a sober living house which will be the largest expense to date for our organization. We need supplies to execute the program such as curriculum needs. We also need funds for our job training program along with providing basic needs. We partner with shelters, ministry clothes closets and food pantries; however, we also buy groceries, provide transportation and assist with obtaining a driver's license. We currently have three part-time staff members who work more than full-time hours each week, and our goal is to bring them on in a full-time capacity.
How Can You Support Us
CRC needs support in the following ways:
-Share us with those in your circle of influence via word of mouth, social media and events
-Support us with your prayers
-Support us through volunteering
-Support us with your donation
Dedicated to Serving Individuals
Do you believe in miracles? As Director of Champion Recovery Community (CRC), over the past 10 years, I have watched miracles play out in our community on a daily basis. What started with the introduction of bible study to incarcerated women evolved to a women’s jail re-entry program and in 2018, a comprehensive women’s recovery program.
In 2025 we have expanded and consolidated services into three community support programs, Women’s Recovery Program, Life Recovery Center and Jail Re-Entry Program. CRC continues to champion women, men and families who are in need of support, relief, rehabilitation and recovery.
In September 2024, we opened Life Recovery Center in Jasper, TN, a public day support facility for men, women and families. The LRC is open every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their circumstances, and can participate in a host of life skills classes, recovery meetings, and/or access to essential services such as meals, showers, laundry, clothing and hygiene products. Through God’s provision and your gifts we are able to provide these needed services that have a profound impact on individuals’ dignity and restore connection and hope in our community.
In May 2025, we opened our newest service offering, a second Women’s Recovery Program in Dunlap to serve women who are re-entering the community from incarceration, and/or are seeking help with addiction, trauma and co-dependency. This new site expands CRC’s services to include both Marion and Sequatchie counties. The need is great and CRC is there to answer the call as the only recovery program reaching this population.
By the grace of God through the CRC ministry, miracles are happening having positive impacts on those we serve and our community as a whole. We will continue to have hopes and dreams for future expansion of services to meet the recovery needs of the community. As a priority, safe and sober living is the next step. People require a safe and sober environment to heal, stay sober, participate in support programs, change negative behaviors, become fully functional participants of society, acquire and maintain employment and rebuild families. Please join in our prayers as CRC seeks to address this community need.
Thank you for your continued support for CRC and the many individuals and families in need in our community.
